Acer Palmatum Going Green (‘Sonkootgre’) (PBR)

This is a great plant for creating year-round interest. The handsomely lobed foliage emerges a soft lime green before turning fresh green for summer. In autumn the leaves then turn vibrant shades of orange and red before they are shed. After the last leaf has fallen, the silhouette of the bright green bare stems really stands out – particularly if it is placed in front of a contrasting backdrop. It’s a great choice for smaller gardens or large patio pots.
