Plant description
A prolific, self-fertile dessert apple tree yielding medium-large, yellow-skinned fruits with a striking red overlay, encasing crisp, aromatic flesh. Ready for harvest in October, ‘Braeburn Hillwell’ provides apples with a firm texture, but sweet, juicy flavour. They can be enjoyed fresh or stored until March as they boast an impressive shelf life. Pollination information: This apple belongs to pollination group 4 however it is self fertile, but can make an excellent pollinating partner to produce a crop of apples in other partially self-fertile or self-sterile apples belonging to groups 3 or 4.
