Plant description
Impressively large, reddish-pink semi-double flowers, which look more like a camellia than a quince, clothe the thornless stems of this deciduous shrub in spring. Once the plant is established and has put on some growth, these stems can be cut and placed in a vase inside the house. Relatively tough and easy to grow, it can be trained as a wall shrub where there is limited space.
