Plant description
The delicate mauve-pink cup-shaped flowers with reddish-brown centres of ‘Hagley Hybrid’ can grow up to 10cm across from July to September. This vigorous, large flowered clematis is ideal for a north-facing site. A compact variety useful where space is limited, it is best in partial shade since the pretty flowers fade in strong sunlight. Combine with Rosa ‘Rambling Rector’ and Solanum crispum ‘Glasnevin’ for a vigorous swathe of climbing colour over large arbours and pergolas.
