A relative of the popular ‘Brown Turkey’ variety, and reliably weather tolerant within the UK, ‘Bornholm’ is an excellent and hardy, self-fertile fig. Moderately vigorous without taking over, the large three to five lobed green, scented leaves surround prolific sweet, tasty, late summer fruit ripening to a lustrous purple, light red inside with an aromatic flavour.
